I write about gender, science, culture and more.

I'm a senior reporter at Vox, covering gender issues. Before that, I was a member of the New York Times editorial board, where I wrote editorials and other pieces about reproductive rights, the environment, culture, technology and more. I started This Week in Hate, an editorial board project tracking hate crimes and harassment after the 2016 election. Below is some of my work that I especially like.
